Women's Health Week: Health That Feels Like Coming Home
This week is Women’s Health Week, and the 2025 theme is clear, bold, and long overdue:
“Say yes to you”.
It’s a powerful invitation in a world that so often asks women to say yes to everything - work, family, caregiving, emotional labour - while quietly placing their own wellbeing at the bottom of the list.
Let’s be honest, most of us aren’t sitting around on yoga mats sipping green juice and “manifesting abundance.”
We’re managing a lot - from the outside and the inside.
Things like:
Supporting family in new ways - whether that’s caring for ageing parents, navigating the changing dynamics of adult children, or simply holding more emotional and mental load than anyone realises
Keeping households running while the cost of living stretches tighter
Moving through the seasons of our bodies, from perimenopause to post-menopause - where things ache that didn’t used to, hormones feel unfamiliar, and the energy we once took for granted now comes in waves
Looking in the mirror and realising… this body isn’t what it used to be... and neither are we
Wrestling with questions like, “Is this it?” or “Where did I go in all of this?”
And somehow, through it all, we’re expected to be thriving?
Here’s a truth we keep coming back to gentle remind us all:
You are already whole.
Not broken. Not too late. Not behind.
You may just be buried under a few layers: masks, conditioning, to-do lists, and the heavy “shoulds” of the world.
So this Women’s Health Week, we’re not asking you to do more.
We’re inviting you to gently strip back, say yes to yourself, and remember who you are underneath it all.
Real Health = Whole Health
We believe health isn’t just physical.
It’s not just pap smears, protein powder, or pelvic floor exercises (though those matter too).
Health is:
Mental clarity - knowing what’s yours and what’s noise
Emotional resilience - allowing your heart to stay open, even when it hurts
Spiritual connection - feeling part of something bigger
Physical vitality - having enough energy to actually enjoy life, not just survive it
And most importantly…
Health is not about adding more to your plate.
It’s about clearing space to hear what you actually need.
Why We Feel Off - And Why It’s Not Your Fault
Here’s the truth:
Modern life pulls us out of alignment every day.
We’re pushed to go faster, do more, and numb ourselves when we can’t keep up.
We’re expected to be everything to everyone, without ever falling apart.
We’re applauded for burnout and self-sacrifice, not boundaries and stillness.
But when one part of you is out of sync, your whole system suffers.
The mind becomes noisy and anxious
The body aches, bloats, tenses or fatigues
The heart closes off - protecting itself from more disappointment
The soul fades into the background, waiting for silence to be remembered
It’s no wonder we feel stuck, flat, or unsure of who we are anymore.
The Four Parts of Self: Another Way to See Your Health
We believe true health is alignment - when your mind, body, heart, and soul are all talking to each other.
When they’re not in competition for attention, but in collaboration. Listening and responding, in wholeness.

Each of these parts of self - mind, body, heart, and soul - carries its own wisdom, its own rhythm, and its own way of asking for what it needs. When one part is neglected or overwhelmed, the whole system feels it. And when all four are nurtured, we feel anchored, connected, and whole.
Below, you’ll find a simple guide to help you tune in to each aspect - recognising the signs when you're out of balance, and gently returning to alignment with small, soul-honouring practices.
Mind: The Loudest Room in the House
Your mind’s doing its best. But between the news cycle, the mental load, and trying to remember if you fed the dog or not, it’s no wonder it’s tired, and tiring.
When it’s out of balance:
Everything feels like too much
You can’t make a decision without a spreadsheet
Your inner critic has a megaphone
In balance
You are focused
You have space for clarity
You are kind with your self-talk

A small alignment shift:
Imagine your mind as a garden.
Ask: What’s growing wild? What needs pruning? What needs planting?
Let a few thoughts go. You don’t need to believe them all.
Body: The Part We Often Ignore Until It Yells
Our bodies hold every story we’ve ever lived - and they don’t lie.
They whisper until they have to shout.
When it’s out of balance:
You’re exhausted, bloated, wired but tired
Everything feels like effort
You can’t remember the last time you felt good in your skin
In balance:
You feel rested
You are resilient
You move with a rhythm that responds to your body's needs

A small alignment shift:
Hand on belly, hand on heart. Ask:
What do you need today?
Then follow through - even just a little.
Water. A walk. A proper rest. Something that brings you back in.
Heart: The Most Tender Part
Let’s talk about the heart - not the cardio charts, but the quiet aches.
The grief we’ve swallowed. The love we long to give and receive.
The way we armour up to keep ourselves “safe” and end up feeling alone.
When it’s out of balance:
You’re resentful, numb, or emotionally brittle
You say yes when you mean no
You miss yourself, even in a room full of people
In balance:
You are compassionate - to yourself and others
You are courageous and know your boundaries
You are able to feel and express emotion.

A small alignment shift:
Whisper to your own heart:
May I feel safe. May I feel seen. May I soften, even just a little.
Let the walls come down one breath at a time
Soul: The Quiet Knowing Beneath It All
When was the last time you felt truly connected to your soul?
Not your roles. Not your titles. But you?
When it’s out of balance:
You feel lost, uninspired, or flat
Life feels like one big Groundhog Day
You’re craving something more - even if you can’t name it yet
In balance:
You are inspired and feel lit from within, even the simplest moments
You are guided and allow life to unfold, trusting in something bigger
You are in flow - harmonising, not hustling

A small alignment shift:
Light a candle. Ask:
What am I longing for right now?
And then listen. Don’t rush. Your soul speaks in whispers, not bullet points.
This Week, Ask Yourself:
What does my mind need today?
What is my body telling me?
What is my heart feeling?
What does my soul long for?
You don’t need to have all the answers.
You just need to pause long enough to ask.
In Celebration of You
To every woman, girl, carer, creator, healer, and soul navigating this wild world -
We see you. We honour your capacity and your humanity.
And we believe your wellbeing matters - in all its messy, sacred, and ever-changing forms.
Happy Women’s Health Week.
Start where you are, take one step inward, and trust that you’re already on your way home.
Big Love,
Kelly & Anna xx
